Caught (Elizabeth and James Drabble #2)

Elizabeth was hiding behind a tapestry near the Gryffindor Commonroom, waiting for James to pass. As soon as he passed the tapestry, she grabbed him and pulled him behind it. "What the bloody hell is going on?!" James yelled. James turned around and saw Elizabeth. "Here's your handkerchief", Elizabeth said handing him the hankerchief. "Thanks", James said. Elizabeth turned to leave, but James grabbed her arm. "You don't have to leave", James said. "Do you have any idea what would happen if we were seen together?" Elizabeth asked. James pulled Elizabeth closer to him. "I don't care", he said softly. Elizabeth gently pushed him away. "James, its not that I don't like you. It'd just...you're a Gryffindor and I'm a Slytherin", she said. "You're making us sound like Romeo and Juliet", James said groaning. "I like you James, I really do", Elizabeth said. "Then don't fight it", James said whispering. James kissed her. Antigone Parkinson heard voices coming from a tapestry. She walked behind it and saw James and Elizabeth kissing. "Elizabeth?" Antigone asked. James and Elizabeth broke apart. "Antigone!" Elizabeth said surprised. "Parkinson?" James asked, equally shocked. "Potter? You were kissing Potter?" Antigone asked Elizabeth. "Please don't tell Scorpius! He hates James!" Elizabeth pleaded. "Why? Afraid of him?" Antigone taunted. "I'm more afraid of what my father would do. I know he hates the Potters", Elizabeth said. "I'm not afraid of your father or Scorpius. I like you a lot Elizabeth", James told her. "I like you a lot too James, but sometimes that isn't enoguh", Elizabeth said. Antigone sighed. "Okay. I promise not to tell", she said. Elizabeth hugged her. "Thank you! Oh thank you!" Elizabeth exclaimed. "On one condition..." Antigone said. "Anything! Anything!" Elizabeth promised. "You get me a date with Sebastian Zabini", Antigone said. "Done!" Elizabeth said.
